With Spring officially knocking at our door it has my head swimming with all of the lovely fashions that come with this glorious season!  Bringing warmer weather and brighter colors with its longer days inspires many to dust off their wardrobes and step out anew!  Since I am mostly inspired by earthy whimsical designs in all aspects of art and fashion I wanted to share some of my favorites that have graced the runways and magazines lately.

And let’s not forget about hair ladies!  I am loving the new hair trends including the side pony tail…yes…..I said the side pony tail.  Don’t fret, it’s much classier that it’s 80’s cousin.  But mostly I think every girl looks best with that natural beachy look so be sure not to over do it girls!

So, we are currently in Tucson, AZ for the International Gem & Jewelry Show and we are having loads of fun!  Our heads are swimming from all the colors, textures and sparkly things we have seen over the last few days.  We can’t wait to get back in to the studio to start creating our summer/fall collection that will launch a little later this year.  Keep your eyes peeled for some fun, new and different pieces coming soon!

Eat your hearts out Desperate Housewives fans!!!  This gorgeous shot of Eva wearing our gold Chloe earrings with green amethyst was taken from her recent shoot with Harper’s Bazaar!  She loved this pic so much she posted it to her twitter page and was then passed along to us.  We will keep you posted as to whether this will go to print and in the meantime keep your eyes open for some more celebrity sightings!!!

Our holiday open house this past weekend was a tremendous success!!! The studio and boutique were packed with jolly buyers who were happy to be in out of the cold. We greeted them with a huge spread of food and beverages and well wishes for the season! Even the decent snow fall it didn’t seem to keep them away. We are so thankful for all of the support from our wonderful community and look forward to hosting these events several times a year. We have a few pictures of the festivities but unfortunately were so busy that we were not able to capture the hustle and bustle….

We are very excited to announce that the Lotus Boutique will be hosting a holiday open house Friday, December 4th (5pm-10pm) and Saturday, December 5th (4pm-9pm)!!! Since we are a wholesale company there are very few opportunities to see inside our showroom and warehouse and have access to our entire line as well as one-of-a-kind and limited production pieces. This is an event you do not want to miss!!!! Wine, beer and light hors d oeuvres will be provided so please join us for a fun and wonderful evening!

We figure a fun place is a happy place to work! Since we value our employees so much we strive to keep our laid back attitude present in the work space while we all crank out ridiculous amounts of jewelry. Erik is having a great time adding graffiti to our 20ft. warehouse walls with koi fish, lotus flowers and spaceships, oh my!!!! We have also been encouraging our artists to doodle on the walls above their work benches…..reminds me a little of my bedroom walls when I was a teenager? Who knows, we may open up the doodling to those who just simply pass through our shop, kind of like those awesome pubs with names scratched in to the tables….love it!!!
